At the Board meeting, held Wednesday, August 11th, the Board of Directors awarded a Lifetime Membership to Annette Barnes. As our club president, Annette's vision and leadership resulted in the consolidation of the Timpanogos Figure Skating Club into Salt Lake Figure Skating. She effectively managed the club's move to the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. Our skaters then and now have benefited significantly. Thank you Annette! |

This past year SLFS disbursed $9,800 in financial aid to 21 eligible skaters who applied and met requirements. The SLFS Skater Recognition Program has been implemented to establish a clear process for this club benefit. It will ensure fair and consistent methodology for financial recognition to offset the high cost of training. A new category for passing Freestyle Tests by non-qualifying skaters has been added.
